The First Steps to a Good Life

1 John reminds us that God cares that we have an assurance of our salvation. In 1 John, we learn that God not only wants his people to know him, but he also wants them to have assurance that they know him. It is this assurance and security that lead to the good life, the life that we have always longed for.
